I am a Criminal / DUI Defense Attorney with my main office in Idaho Falls. I handle criminal and DUI cases in Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Blackfoot plus all surrounding areas. I am from Arco, Idaho where I graduated from Butte County High School. I attended the University of Idaho, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science. I chose to attend law school in Portland, Oregon at the Nortwestern School of Law at Lewis/Clark College. While in Portland, I worked in the legal clinic helping the indigent with legal problems. I also worked for Klarquist Sparkman, a patent law firm, proofreading patents from companies such as Microsoft and Nikon. After law school, I became the law clerk for the Honorable Brent J. Moss in Rexburg, Idaho. After passing the Idaho bar exam, I started working for the Bonneville County Public Defender's Office. This gave me extraordinary criminal and DUI experience and allowed me to gain valuable jury trial experience. I defended thousands of people during this time. I gained a great reputation as a tough criminal/DUI defense attorney who is not afraid to take cases to trial. I always wanted to be my own boss so I started my own law firm in Idaho Falls, Stafford Law Office. I am a member of the Idaho State Bar plus the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
